    PRINCIPAL / OWNER

Dana’s unwavering passion for helping children learn and acquire new skills has been the driving force behind the success of Manor Montessori School. Her journey began at a young age, teaching children how to ski, which sparked her love for working with kids. After completing her undergraduate studies, Dana pursued training at the AMI Foundation for Montessori Training, where she met her future business partner, co-founder, and lifelong friend, Janet Miklas.

In September 1994, Dana and Janet founded Manor Montessori School. Dana dedicated her first 10 years to teaching in the Casa classroom while simultaneously completing her Master’s in Education. As the school expanded, Dana transitioned to a leadership role as the owner and Principal, focusing on the broader vision and direction of the school.

Today, three decades later, Dana remains as passionate as ever. She continues to actively engage in the life of the school, regularly observing, mentoring, and supporting children and teachers in the classrooms, embodying her commitment to nurturing the growth and success of every student.
