Manor Montessori Reviews

What our families are saying about Manor Montessori

  • "Our unforgettable journey at Manor Montessori School began in September 2020 while the uncertainties surrounding the pandemic were still lingering. The start of school for my oldest son was so smooth and filled with joy as he was welcomed within a caring , kind and supportive environment into the Casa program. From there sailing through that journey could only get better . The dedicated teachers planted the love of learning, they helped shape the confidence while nurturing my son's curiosity . Two years later as my son stepped into their wonderful elementary program, it was with a strong feeling of gratitude and gratefulness that we enrolled our youngest son . The continuous dedication from all the teachers and the caring support from the School principal Dana made the learning experience so unique and filled with understanding and flexibility. She would step in wherever she was needed in a heartbeat. The enriched academics across all subjects , the amazing French program, and not to forget the Art, music, the multiple field trips and social clubs have made this journey exceptional for both my boys. After 4 grateful years spent with the Manor Montessori family , we leave feeling very confident with the solid foundation and love of learning that our boys carry with them. Thank you Manor . You are the stepping stone as our boys embark on a new journey".

  • "Manor Montessori has absolutely exceeded our expectations. The teachers are exceptional and demonstrate unwavering patience and kindness each day. We could never provide this type of learning at home for our toddler; in one year our son has become so much more confident and independent. The support for our child extends beyond his classroom. It feels like the entire staff knows and cares about our child - it is a very special community. The school has managed to design a program that provides a nice balance between play and curriculum; we as parents are kept well-appraised of monthly learning goals, upcoming school events, our son's progress, and much more. I highly recommend Manor Montessori."

  • "Both of my boys went to Manor Montessori from toddlers to SK. I wish we could have stayed longer! The teachers are fantastic and really help children with self- directed learning. There was lots of opportunity for one-on-one help, and both boys loved their time there. We cherished our time with the Manor Montessori family!"

-The Gosse Family, Casa Classes of 2022 and 2018

  • "Our daughters attended a Montessori preschool and we were so impressed with the program that when it came time to place our grandsons, we found what we believe to be one of the best schools of its kind. Manor Montessori is a warm, safe, caring environment where an exceptional teaching staff nurtures each child’s natural curiosity and unique capacity for learning. Their experiences at MM set them on a positive course for lifelong learning. I cannot recommend the school highly enough."

  • “I have two daughters with very different learning styles – my oldest daughter devours information while my younger daughter benefits from support when learning. Manor Montessori is incredible because they are able to tailor their program to the specific needs of each child. In part, this is because of the Montessori program, but mostly it is due to the passion, caring and dedication of Dana Stewart and her remarkable teachers. Both of my daughters attribute their current success to the strong foundation they achieved at Manor Montessori. We are deeply grateful.”

  • “My son has been at Manor Montessori for 5 years, until the end of Grade 3. Manor Montessori’s academic program is exceptionally strong. My son has an excellent foundation in all subjects, especially math and french! With Manor’s strong french program, my son is now thriving in a full-time french immersion school. Manor has instilled the love of learning and a wonderful sense of curiosity in my son. The academic environment was agile, adapting to his individual learning style and was exceptionally nurturing. I feel deeply grateful for the exceptional caring and supportive environment that Manor has provided to my son and I over the years. Thank you, Dana and everyone at Manor!”

  • "I have had the unique experience of not only having my 3 children attend Manor Montessori School for 7 years each, from Casa to Elementary, but I have been a teacher at Manor for over a decade. As a parent, I watched each of my children learn, flourish, build independence and problem-solving skills in their own unique styles due to the flexibility of the Montessori environment. The transition for each of my children into the public school system was easy as they were academically ahead in many areas. In other areas that were approached differently, as can be expected in any new environment, my children were able to successfully tackle these tasks with the creativity and confidence that they developed at Manor. As a teacher at Manor Montessori, I see the benefits of a multi-age classroom environment every day. I see children learning together, the older children acting as tutor and mentor to their younger peers and the younger students being motivated by what their older peers can do. The Montessori classroom exists like a large family with support, warmth and guidance from the dedicated teachers. It is an enjoyable and rewarding experience for both students and teachers at Manor Montessori and I am thankful that my children and I have been part of the school for so long."

  • "We have fond memories of our son’s years at Manor Montessori. They had great faith in Trevor. The public system had washed their hands of him and he was floundering. Trevor was there when Manor Montessori opened. And he stayed to Grade 3 when your classes ended. His confidence soared and his subsequent placements were a result of your good advice. So what is Trevor doing now? He is a PHD student in Chemistry. He may not have gotten there without the kind and considerate support Manor gave him to start him on his way. I give the highest recommendation to Dana Stewart as a teacher and to the entire school organization. Good work, Manor Montessori."

  • "We have 3 children with 3 different personalities and 3 different ways of working. What has been great about Manor Montessori is that the best has been brought out in each of them. They have been taught that no problem is too big to solve, they have a strong belief in their own capabilities and bring a high degree of self-motivation to both their school work and their non-school activities. They have learned that working to the best of their abilities leads to results they are proud of. As parents, we know this skill will serve them well both in and out of school."

    - Janine White, Mother of 3 who attended Manor Montessori

  • Our child is very energetic and has focus issues. Enrolling him into Manor Montessori was the best decision we could have ever made. The Montessori curriculum really brought out the best in our child and the hands-on attention his teachers gave him did wonders for his behaviour. Our son has become a natural leader and I attribute that to Manor Montessori’s encouragement of their older students to mentor the younger ones. Ben recently graduated Manor after Grade Three. The experience has given him a solid foundation in all core subjects and instilled a strong learning ethic. It has prepared him well for his new school. (I’d say he is ahead in subjects such as Math and French). I would recommend Manor Montessori to any parents with young children. It is a worthy and reassuring investment in your child’s growth and education.
