The Manor Montessori Difference

At Manor Montessori, we nurture the whole child, building a strong educational foundation, fostering lifelong success, and inspiring a love for learning.

Early Reading, Math, and Writing Skills.

Our 3-year Casa approach fosters the gradual development of essential skills. By the end of Casa (Senior Kindergarten), students are reading fluently, writing confidently, and mastering foundational math concepts through daily engagement. This continuity prepares children socially, mentally, and physically for the next phase of their academic journey.

Exceptional Teacher-Student Ratios.

In our Elementary room, we maintain a low 1:10 teacher-student ratio, surpassing standard private school requirements. Our toddler classes have a ratio of 1:5, and our Casa classes have 1:8, ensuring individualized attention that nurtures each child's unique learning journey. These low ratios allow for unique 1:1 learning that progresses development for our students.

Balanced Learning in a Supportive, Nurturing Environment.

Montessori education fosters a balanced, supportive, and engaging learning environment by personalizing the curriculum to each child's unique needs and pace. Classrooms feature calm, organized spaces that encourage self-directed exploration, allowing students to feel safe and confident. Hands-on activities make learning enjoyable, while mixed-age groupings promote collaboration and mentorship. Teachers serve as gentle guides, fostering responsibility and independence through freedom within limits. Practical life skills teach self-care and respect for the environment, enhancing self-esteem and supporting holistic development. Overall, Montessori nurtures children’s natural curiosity, creating a warm atmosphere where they feel valued and empowered in their learning journey.

Outstanding French Program.

At Manor Montessori, French is taught joyfully through stories, images, and songs, creating a supportive learning environment. Students engage in reading, writing, and conjugation exercises alongside captivating French stories, all guided by our passionate French educator. Casa French classes are held in small groups for 30 minutes three times a week, while elementary students enjoy 45 minutes of daily instruction and can participate in an after-school French drama club. By graduation, our elementary students are well-prepared to confidently enter a Grade 4 French immersion program.

Comprehensive Elementary Program.

Our Elementary program builds on the Casa foundation, offering lower ratios (1:10) for personalized support. Students engage in a well-rounded curriculum, including music, art, and extracurricular activities, and enjoy monthly field trips that enhance their learning.
